The National Sevice Scheme is an Indian government sector public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India.

NSS history
NSS was launched in 1969, in the centenary year of Mahatma Gandhi. NSS is inspired by the ideas of Mahatma Gandhi.

Aims and Objectives:
The National Service Scheme (NSS) aims to involve students in community service, develop their skills, and help them gain a sense of social responsibility.
The National Service Scheme has its presence in the college since 2013 with strength of 100 volunteers. It instruments in the implementation of awareness camps related to social causes, Special camping programs, Tree plantation, Cleanliness drive, environment enrichment and conservation Health and family welfare and nutrition programs.
