Awareness Camp at Leku Jalem

As per direction of the Hon’ble Minister, Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, New Delhi, the NSS wing of Purbanchal College, Silapathar has carried out a cleanliness and plantation programme under Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) at Leku Jelem village of Jonai Sub-Division on 27th October, 2015 (Tuesday). The team arrived at the village at 10.00 AM by hiring a bus with 40 (fourty) volunteers who participated enthusiastically in the programme guided by the programme officers Mr. Okiram Pegu and Mr. Nitul Hazarika. Totally 20 (twenty) saplings were planted. Apart from this the volunteers cleaned up the entire surrounding of the village. The programme ended at 4.00 PM.
